Ellenville Playground

Welcome neighbor, to the E.P.C. site!

The E.P.C. is a group of proud Village of Ellenville and Town of Wawarsing residents who created a close, safe place for our children and neighbors to meet and play. Every kid deserves a great place to play. Kids who play are healthier and less likely to be obese. They do better in school. And, they learn social skills that help them become happy, well adjusted adults. Our kids aren't getting enough unstructured play. They spend more time than ever in front of computers and televisions. And safe, accessible play-spaces are disappearing. That's why we have created a volunteer-built play-space.

We are thankful to the Shawangunk Valley Kiwanis Club and Key Club. We are not only completely 100%, non-profit but we are now sponsored by a 501(c)(3)and (4).

Our unique design of the playground incorporated features that allows children with physical disabilities to also enjoy the park.

We are in need of volunteers to help finish the build. This playground is not just for our community but for surrounding communities as well.

We are still in need of volunteers in many other areas too. Committee members, fundraisers, bakers, builders, laborers, concession stand operators and others. All high school students will receive community service hours when they volunteer.

Perhaps if you don't have time to volunteer, you would like to help out by purchasing a sponsorship of which 100% of the proceeds will go to the playground fund.
